Position Summary Clinical Manager Registered Nurse:

The Clinical Manager - RN reports to the Administrator and assists in the direction and coordination of all activities of the Agency including patient care service or personnel as designated. The Clinical Manager RN may act on behalf of the Agency Administrator’s absence. The Clinical Manager RN is readily available through the Agency’s office, during hours of operation to advise the members of the staff. The Clinical Manager has primary responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing and other skilled clinical services through systematic assessment of caseload and optimum utilization of personnel.

Requirements Clinical Manager Registered Nurse:

  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan, unrestricted.
  • Minimum of 3 years registered nursing experience in a skilled home health care setting, required
  • Responsibilities include overseeing field staff, handling referrals, collaborating with families and physicians, developing plans of care, reviewing paperwork, and OASIS.
  • Understands the role of the field clinician and can teach best practice case management, such as documenting in the home and self-scheduling
  • Excellent management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to create a positive work environment
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Adept at setting priorities and multitasking
  • EMR proficient
  • Avid team player
  • Ability to deal effectively with stress.
