ACCOUNTANT

Description

Summary: We are seeking an Accountant with 4+ years of relevant experience in all functions of Accounting. This position will offer support to our Urgent Care centers in New Jersey, and will work with and report to our Director of Finance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, including coding, processing and check cutting

• Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable, including coding, processing and payment application

• Account and Bank reconciliations

• General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Assist in month end and year end close process

• Assist in yearly financial and tax audits

• Work with department leads to complete yearly budgets and projections

• Other duties & special projects as assigned

Requirements

Requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• 4+ years relevant experience

• Ability to make decisions, problem solve and work independently

• Ability to keep organized records and good documentation skills

• Knowledge of Quick Books preferred
