Role Summary
Assist in IT investment management and value realization activities across product lines. Support financial stewardship and governance processes by preparing data, maintaining records, and helping transform information into clear, actionable summaries. This role focuses on learning and applying best practices in budget tracking, capital governance, and financial data management to enable informed decisions. The Associate IT Investment Manager reports to the Value Team Investment Lead and works closely with Product Line teams, Finance, and Business Technology Partners.

Accurate and timely updates to forecasts and financial records.
Clear, well-prepared materials for governance reviews and decision-making.
Improved visibility into costs, spend, and business case status.
Responsibilities
Gather and validate financial data from Apptio and other systems.
Assist in maintaining business cases through governance stages (concept, approval, execution, closeout).
Prepare pre-read materials and ensure completeness for capital governance checkpoints.
Update forecasts, reconcile actuals, and check coding accuracy in dependent systems.
Support variance analysis and document findings for senior team members.
Track progress on value realization activities and maintain dashboards or trackers.
Create simple visuals and summaries for stakeholder communication.
Education:
High School Diploma required. Advanced degree preferred.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial management, data analysis, or IT project management.
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Interest in learning financial governance and IT investment processes.
Strong communication skills with ability to present information clearly.
Exposure to SAP/Ariba or Apptio is helpful but not required.
Role to be co-located with teams at our Boston, MA, Rahway, NJ, or West Point/Upper Gwynedd, PA Tech Centers.
