Discover a workplace where your talents thrive, and your contributions make a lasting difference.<br/><br/>Verdantas is seeking a <strong>Transportation Project Manager</strong> to support our <strong>Wexford, PA</strong> office. As a Transportation Project Manager, you will be responsible for project management of small to medium-sized multidiscipline projects, design and permit production, and close interaction with clients. You will be responsible for putting teams together to complete projects of a high standard of quality, within deadlines, and within budgetary requirements. <br/><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul>
<li>Project Manager is responsible for client satisfaction and relationship management in an effort to exceed client expectations and enhancement of the overall client experience</li>
<li>Provide clear and consistent communication to both internal and external clients on performance and project status</li>
<li>Develop/review the project scope and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) for all projects assigned.</li>
<li>Serve as a project manager and project engineer on projects and as a designated client contact explaining and modeling efficient project management processes to less experienced staff</li>
<li>Prepares and directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project</li>
<li>Prepares/develops the project proposal estimating engineering costs, determining engineering disciplines needed and forecasting total resources required for the project</li>
<li>Prepares/monitors project budget. Has overall responsibility for the profitability of his/her project</li>
<li>Controls work-in-process, ensures accurate client billing, and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on his/her projects</li>
<li>Monitors projects throughout all phases ensuring project schedules and budget compliance</li>
<li>Attends client meetings, communicating concerns and changes with the client in order to ensure a positive relationship.</li>
<li>Interprets and complies with all governmental requirements, ordinances, and permitting</li>
<li>Author/Publish social media posts on innovation, technology or project highlights</li>
<li>Actively participate in industry organization(s) such as ASHE or ACEC</li>
<li>Responsible for administering Client Savvy or ECMS surveys throughout the year</li>
</ul><br/><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Transportation or related discipline</li>
<li>5+ years’ experience in the management and delivery of high profile projects for major transportation clients with an emphasis on PennDOT and PA Turnpike Commission</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of DOT project requirements. (PennDOT & ODOT preferred)</li>
