 THE BIG PICTURE  

As a Pile Driver Operator 2, your primary duties include operating and maintaining pile driving equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures. Must be able to be a leader and trainer on solar solar pile tasks and responsibilities. Safety is always the first priority, so you must be able to understand and abide by all operating safety regulations, procedures and operations.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)  

Follows prescribed safety regulations  

Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area  

Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning  

Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction  

Follows work plans and pre-task cards  

Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed  

Operate Vermeer PD10 per requirements on site 

 

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment

Knowledge of equipment and their uses
