Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Any Rank) Austin, TX

Summary

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is looking for an individual to anchor PM&R services for Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) in Austin starting with outpatient clinics, procedures and consults at neighboring facilities.  Expanding the service to cover inpatient rehabilitation admissions and consults at the soon to be completed TCH hospital in North Austin.

Job Duties

• Staff physiatrist at Texas Children's Hospital and satellite locations with patient care responsibilities including  outpatient and inpatient consults, inpatient rehabilitation bed service, general and spasticity management.
• Teaching faculty for selective/elective medical students, residents, and pediatric rehabilitation fellows program
• Assist with inpatient/outpatient programs including coverage on only CARF accredited pediatric rehabilitation unit in Texas Children's Hospital

Minimum Qualifications

• Required: MD/DO- Board certification/board eligibility in Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with fellowship training.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
