Upholstery Production Associate

Description

Essential Functions

• Ability to upholster basic chair and table models
• Ability to upholster Swing Arm Style arms
• Comply with Safety Devices and all required PPE
• Document Quality Related Tasks
• Ensuring work area is clean and free of debris

Competencies

• Use of Industrial Pneumatic Stapler
• Use of a variety of Pneumatic Presses to hold upholstered items in place
• Use of a variety of hand tools to safely remove staples
• Safe use of box cutter and/or similar cutting tools used in the process of removing excess vinyl
• Following Work Instructions in written and video format
• Linking of Job Traveler to task required

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma / GED

Preferred Education and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
