<p>The area <br/>
You will become part of the Audiological Solutions group, a part of the R&D unit Device Software. This group is responsible for innovating and designing all audiological solutions of our hearing aid products. </p>

<p>Referring to the Senior Director of Audiological Solutions, you will direct a line team with focus on exploration, data, and user interaction. You will be a part of a leadership team together with people managers, architects, and SAFe ART leaders. </p>

<p>The job<br/>
The developers in the team are responsible for innovating and developing audiological solutions for all Demant hearing instruments. The developers are part of a SAFe Agile release train (ART), organized in self-governing scrum teams with product owners, who manage the team backlog, and scrum master/team coaches who facilitate the team progress towards the goal. As Senior manager you are expected to excel as line manager, securing that the team is set up for success in the SAFe setup; and to be change agent for the general transformation. Your main responsibilities:</p>

<li>Develop a highly skilled team providing mentorship, coaching, feedback and guidance to ensure their professional growth</li>
<li>Contribute to a great leadership team centered around audiological solutions</li>
<li>Supporting and executing strategic initiatives in particular the current SAFe transformation</li>
<li>Encourage innovation and continuous improvement</li>
<li>Competence and capability management for the area</li>
<li>Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the area</li>
<li>Develop, optimize and maintain processes</li>
<li>Facilitate the adoption of agile practices within the team, ensuring adherence to the SAFe principles and methodologies</li>
<li>Alignment of R&D activities across R&D functions including research</li>
</ul>

<p>Personal qualifications<br/>
You have documented experience with managing and developing highly skilled and specialized teams in a large-scale R&D setting. You have great people management skills and are an inspiring communicator. You are excited about developing people, teams, and the context they are in, focusing on empowering teams and the individual. As we are searching for a leader for a team working in a SAFe environment it is important that your personal toolbox and motivation is matching the servant leader setup in SAFe. It will be considered a favorable asset if you have prior experience in a leadership role from an Agile/SAFe environment.</p>

<p>You have an interest and preferable experience in being part of developing the organization and how we work together, facilitating a culture of continuous improvement. You inspire followership in your interactions with stakeholders and see yourself as a team player. Most likely you hold a MSc in Engineering or similar with Domain knowledge for the team you will lead. You are fluent in English both written and spoken, as it is our company language.</p>
