Here, you'll partner with exceptional colleagues across scientific, medical, and manufacturing teams, backed by advanced digital and AI-enabled infrastructure and the authority to accelerate medicines from discovery to delivery. Guided by our values of courage, excellence, equity, and joy, you'll have the opportunity to stretch your skills and build a career that evolves with you—across teams, roles, and the Pfizer enterprise. Join us to make history — for patients, for their families, for the future.
This role is the MIBC indication Lead. This includes owning the strategy and execution of the brand narrative for Medical Oncologists and Urologists. As the marketplace matures, the dynamics between general urologists, cystectomy performing urologists, medical oncologists, may evolve, which will require strategic and messaging refinement. Partnership with analytics and market research will be critical to track our progress; collaboration with Medical is incredibly important to ensure future data presentations/publications are properly evaluated for Commercial promotion. In addition, leadership within the team is critical to ensure the MIBC narrative is consistent throughout all channels and stakeholders. Mentoring / support for other team members, junior members in particular, is expected to prevent silos and ensure team culture is strong. The ability to develop good working relationships and trust with Astellas counterparts and MLR will be critical for success.
The scope of this role may evolve in response to brand and business needs
BRAND SUMMARY
First launched in 2019, PADCEV has changed the treatment landscape by becoming a standard of care for the treatment of locally advanced/metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC). Last November, we launched in Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (MIBC) for cis-ineligible patients and received approval for an indication expansion regardless of cis-eligibility. The MIBC launch has been very successful and will be the brand’s growth driver for the next several years.
PADCEV is a dynamic, challenging, high priority brand within the Pfizer Oncology portfolio.
