We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Performance Lead for Supply Chain & External Manufacturing to join our Opella North America Manufacturing & Supply Finance team. This role is crucial in driving strategic initiatives, managing key service agreements, and leading financial performance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, financial management, project leadership, and change management. This position reports directly to the Head of Finance Performance for Manufacturing & Supply in North America.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead finance performance for North American Supply Chain & External Manufacturing organizations.
- Finance Business Partner to Head of Supply Chain NA, Head of External Manufacturing, and Global Finance POC for NA Supply Chain
- Distribution Center in Chattanooga, TN, USA
- External Manufacturing hubs in the USA, Canada, and France
- Lead, coordinate and collaborate with leadership and matrix organizations including North America M&S, North America Commercial, North America Finance, Global M&S, Global Finance, Global M&S Finance, Procurement and Center of Excellence(s) for reporting aspects during financial closings and planning cycles for North America Supply and External Manufacturing.
- Develop and implement mid to long-term strategies to drive financial performance, business growth and market expansion.
- Develop and implement financial objectives and goals for P&L and Cash culture, notably on through expense management and inventory reductions
- Lead and collaborate on business transformational topics for supply chain and external manufacturing
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business objectives with strategic initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
- Lead financial processes during actual and forecast/budget periods for North America External Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
- Assess and challenge business assumptions to ensure consistency in forecasts.
- Monitor forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare, consolidate, and report financial data, ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
About You
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of accounting & controlling experience, preferably in the CPG or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) and reporting/forecasting software (TM1, SAP).
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Experience in a multicultural and fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
- Customer-focused and results-oriented.
- Ability to work transversally with cross-functional partners.
- Understanding of macroeconomic trends and their impact on the business unit.
- Ability to simplify complex matters and propose innovative solutions.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
