Occupational therapist 1

Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist 1 to join the team. This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Occupational Therapist 1 Job Responsibilities:
•    Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content
of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
•    Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts while
completing all administrative tasks and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
•    Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment and protocols. Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines – adjusting the treatment plan as needed.

Additional Requirements:
•    Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
•    Education: Bachelor’s Degree Occupational Therapy
•    Experience: Occupational Therapy New graduate
•    Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation- Upon Start
•    Licensure: Occupational Therapist- VA
