Your Specific Responsibilities:
The Operation Analyst I is a logistic and support position within the Department of Health in Osceola County (DOH-Osceola) reporting directly to the Community Program Manager. This position is responsible for the efficient operation of the Public Health Preparedness warehouse, ensuring that all materials are properly stored, organized, and distributed in support of public health initiatives and emergency response efforts. This role involves managing inventory and coordinating logistics.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Public Health Preparedness warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, inventory management, and distribution of materials. Maintain accurate records of all inventories, track stock levels, and initiate replenishment orders to ensure the warehouse is stocked with essential supplies for public health emergencies. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of records and identify any discrepancies, while also ensuring that inventory is rotated appropriately. Monitor the condition of the warehouse facility, making recommendations for maintenance or upgrades as necessary to ensure a safe and functional environment. Coordinate the purchasing, receiving, storing, and distribution of public health preparedness supplies, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation of shipments and receipts. Maintain comprehensive records of warehouse activities, including inventory logs, and distribution reports. Incumbent must travel from their home base to the warehouse as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
Assist in reviewing and maintaining CRI response plans. Coordinate logistics for Points of Dispensing (PODSs) to ensure timely delivery of medical supplies and assist with regular CRI drills and exercises to test and improve emergency response capabilities.
Provide logistical support during public health emergencies, including assisting with deployment of supplies and resources. Work closely with other departments, such as Emergency Management and local agencies, to coordinate the distribution of supplies and resources during public health emergencies.
Assist in training staff and volunteers on warehouse protocols, inventory systems, and safety procedures related to public health preparedness efforts. Assist planning consultant with special needs shelter trainings.
Responsible for creating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on SharePoint sites, and external website. Collaborates closely with the Public Information Officer (PIO) and the Content Review Committee (CoRC) to ensure all messaging meets content standards before publication. Proactively monitors all platforms to ensure approved, up-to-date content is maintained, promptly removing outdated information. Ensures compliance with organizational and brand and content guidelines.
Responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating the internal distribution lists to ensure accurate and timely communication with community partners. Creates new distribution lists as needed, regularly reviews, and verifies the accuracy of existing lists, and updates contact information to reflect changes. Coordinates with various departments to troubleshoot any issues related to the distribution list and applies best practices to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the lists.
Under the direction of management, develops and maintains comprehensive reports for surveys related to employee satisfaction and meeting/training feedback. Ensures the accuracy and validity of survey data and presents results in a clear and understandable format.
