The Manager, Biomedical Quality is responsible for providing subject matter expertise on a variety of devices and systems in support of biomedical services across the Village. This position is responsible for training, auditing and collaborative problem solving for chronic or complex technical issues that arise in the dialysis clinics. This position partners with biomedical teammates across the Village to implement corrective action as the result of internal audits performed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform technical spot audits. Lead or participate in the exploration, evaluation, and design of recommended solutions
- Optimize/re-mediate technical systems and processes by identifying appropriate goals & objectives, project plans, timelines, validation, deliverables and resources required to realize beneficial change to biomedical quality
- Educate and provide resources for biomedical best practices in conjunction with biomedical education department
- Identify and implement process improvements by analyzing technical data
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure quality device management programs are in place and functional
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum of 6 years Biomed experience preferred
These positions will require 75% travel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, biomedical or mechanical technologies or engineering, strongly preferred
- 6-8 years’ experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills sufficient to effectively use the Web, Word, Excel and Power Point , required
- Expert understanding of biomedical technical process to include facility specific P&P, environmental cultures, preventive maintenance records etc., required
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause, required

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
The Salary Range for the role is $82,000.00 - $121,000.00 per year.If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hourWashington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hourFor location-specific minimum wage details, see the following link:
