Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility. </span></span></p> <p><span><span>This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland’s nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come. </span></span></p> <h2><b>Job Summary:</b></h2> <p><span><span>The Senior Nuclear Licensing Engineer will be responsible for providing nuclear licensing support to the project and executing specialized activities during the licensing and engineering phases. This position has technical responsibility producing licensing documents, interfacing with regulators and designers, maintaining the safety case and preparing reports. This position will report to the Project Engineering Manager on the project and will work in coordination with other engineering disciplines to develop licensing and design documents. </span></span></p> <p><span><span>The ideal candidate will have solid experience in nuclear power plant design and regulatory requirements and will be capable of developing licensing and design documents that maintain safety in design. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and embrace Bechtel’s diversity &amp; inclusion, leadership, quality, and safety values. </span></span></p> <p><span><span> Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Warsaw, Poland office. Part-Time telework flexibility will be an option as the position progresses.</span></span></p> <h2><b>Major Responsibilities:</b></h2> <ul> <li><span><span>Prepare technical reports, studies, and licensing documentation including safety analysis reports, design basis documents, and other licensing information documents as needed to support the project. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Work with an inclusive team environment where all are able and expected to contribute to the maximum of their capabilities. Provide leadership and mentoring to team members. Create meaningful goals working with the team and ensure goals are met. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Establish and maintain work plans to ensure schedules are met and stakeholder requirements are satisfied.
