The Plant Facilities Supervisor will direct work assignments and projects of the plant facilities staff and support the day to day operations of the team. He/she will serve as a resource to staff in completing their assigned duties, attend weekly meetings with the Facilities Management team to remain abreast of all issues pertaining to the priorities of the department and contribute to team-based decisions.
Responsibilities include; work coordination for special projects; maintaining the availability of supplies for routine and scheduled task and assessment of requests for special projects for evaluation and recommendation. This position will complete the work schedule for the maintenance staff and adjust staffing as needed. Other duties include, oversight and provide resources as needed to complete maintenance work orders, trouble call work orders, biomedical work orders, preventative maintenance work orders and maintenance repairs assigned to the staff.
Acts as the point person for information on work requests from customers, and all departments in the hospital. Initiates and procures materials and supplies needed to perform day to day operations, and makes recommendations for additional resources, staff, and equipment, when required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Three (3) years plus in a supervisory role preferably within a healthcare/medical setting. Licensure/Certification in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing/ Air& Refrigeration strongly preferred.
