Job Description Summary
The Early Career Strategy – Intern & Early Career Operations Manager is responsible to define and implement our global intern strategy, streamline practices, and enhance alignment with our full-time strategy. This role focuses on delivering exceptional intern experience programming aimed at converting top talent into full-time positions or development programs. Additionally, the position supports operational activities related to development programs, including tool and technology management, KPI tracking, and more.This role reports to the Early Career Strategy Development Programs Leader (to be hired).
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and drive the GE Vernova intern strategy and mission including standards and global alignment, to support the full-time employee strategy, and in close partnership with all key stakeholders.
Design and execute GEV-wide intern experiences to attract and convert top talent into full-time roles or development programs.
Collaborate and navigate with cross-functional teams at multiple levels to ensure seamless integration of intern strategy with broader organizational goals and initiatives, trainings, and/or other learning engagements.
Coordinate and manage operational activities with functional key stakeholders and in alignments with development program pipeline needs
Lead a cross-functional and global network of teams to help execute the intern program experiences in multiple locations
Bring standardization and consistency to key intern program execution locally, including experiences, communications, learnings, and evaluations by students and manages.
Partner with University Recruiting to align recruiting strategies with program goals and outcomes, supporting the workforce planning process. Progress global recruiting strategies for best positioned opportunities to hire strong talent to internships.
Oversee KPI management to track and enhance program performance and outcomes.
Create and maintain evaluation tools for students’ internship experiences, including final supervisor evaluations and intern evaluations
Support students prior to, during, and after their internships to ensure their success and ongoing engagement as necessary
Continuously seek and implement best practices, networking with other world-class organizations to keep GEV’s internship program strategy fresh and competitive.
Accountable for operating within set budget
Continuously improve the program and experience for students, managers, and leaders engaged
Manage team member(s) to support the GE Vernova intern program and early career strategy operational aspects
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years professional related working experience
Experience in program management, preferably within an HR or talent management context.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and regions.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Demonstrated clear thinking and ability to leverage data to drive decision making, especially in a complex environment
Ability to use advanced analytical thought capabilities, to define and drive innovative problem solving
Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to execute multiple goals and plans within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to facilitate and influence effectively across multiple levels
Ability to travel globally as needed.

The base pay range for this position is $122,400 - 165,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a perf
