The Role
The Senior Merchandising Manager for UGG Women's Footwear - North America is responsible for spearheading, executing, and communicating the overarching Merchandising strategy for the most significant product category within the North American market, which contributes the largest share of revenue globally. In this role, the Senior Merchandising Manager will ensure that the product assortment in the marketplace aligns with and drives our brand's key priorities and strategies, all while meeting or surpassing regional and category financial objectives.
This position holds accountability for the entire marketplace, and the Senior Merchandising Manager will work to make sure that our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channel presents the best representation of Women's footwear, while also delivering a distinctive and compelling product selection within the wholesale channel. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Merchandising, FLG U.S., this role will collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including Product Line Management, Design, Brand Planning, DTC & Wholesale Planning and Allocation, Sales Operations, Global and U.S. Marketing, Demand and Supply Planning, Visual Merchandising, e-Commerce, U.S. Sales, Retail Field/Operations, and Consumer Insights.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Business Strategy:
- Responsible to create a vision and strategy for the women’s footwear category for the U.S. marketplace.
- Partner with Brand Planning and the DTC & Wholesale Planning teams on long range - 5 year rolling forecasts.
- Align DTC & Wholesale seasonal financial forecasts with Regional Input Templates (Regional Briefs), Brand MFP, Omni MFP, KPIs and targets.
- Develop range plans that deliver brand and channel objectives.
- Ensure flawless execution of all brand strategies and initiatives across the marketplace.
- Collaborate with Product Creation, Planning and Allocation teams on strategic management of key product franchises.
- Guide the tops-down sales, margin, inventory, and style-color count targets for each season, in collaboration with DTC and Wholesale Planning teams.
- Collaborate with DTC and Wholesale Planning to continuously improve seasonal data and metric capture to guide in-season and future-season strategies.
- Direct a deep understanding of the consumer targets (Culture Creator, Culture Changemaker and Conscious Brand Hero) across the Women’s Merchandising Team and apply these insights throughout the Go-to-Market process.
- Optimize seasonal assortments to maximize key stories while assuring there is differentiation across the marketplace, DTC and within the wholesale channel.
- Ensure assortment plans achieve style-color count and productivity targets.
- Unlock new opportunities through creative use of assortment building and inventory management best practices.
- Lead the preparation and organization for Women’s footwear presentations/meetings: End of season recaps, In-season updates, Quarterly and Monthly Business reviews, Sales Meetings, Store Manager Conferences, DTC Investment Reviews, DTC Visual Retail Merchandising meetings, Wholesale Strategic Roll-out, and all Omni report-outs for each milestone meeting (Initial Line Review, Final Line Review).
- Take an action-oriented approach to managing the business in season:
- Attend Consensus & Demand Review meetings to communicate and cascade updates as needed.
- Partner with Allocation to optimize inventory across channels DTC E-Com Retail & wholesale.
- Make recommendations for exit strategies for slow sellers.
- Provide forward-looking product-driven inputs to monthly Open to Buy and Recap meetings.
