As a Senior Credit Services Coordinator you will support the CashApp North America team through onboarding, coaching, and process development while ensuring high-quality cash allocation services for internal and external customers. You will act as the primary support and backup to the Credit Services Supervisor, serve as the first point of contact for issue resolution and escalations, and maintain key SOPs, work instructions, and tools. In this role, you will help build an adaptable, future-ready team structure that meets evolving business needs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Reconcile unapplied cash, unbalanced checks, and ACH transfers, and ensure alignment between the General Ledger and Accounts Receivable.
- Oversee unallocated cash, support the reduction of open amounts, and provide guidance on complex cases.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Operational Excellence and Lean Daily Management, while maintaining system integrity and implementing process updates.
- Provide daily support to team members, address technical process questions, and manage internal and external escalations.
- Support team training, development needs, and back-up structure to ensure operational continuity.
- Maintain internal controls in accordance with Medtronic policies and SOX requirements, and ensure compliance with corporate standards, including health and safety and equal opportunity policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for linked teams such as Disputes, Credit, and Collections, fostering strong collaboration and effective communication.
- Support accurate KPI measurement and reporting in alignment with team goals and objectives.
- Participate in and support team projects and process updates, including A3 initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required and consistent with the scope and purpose of the role.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in Business (or related field) preferred; good English skills; accounting qualification and commercial accounting experience desirable.
- Strong IT skills (Excel, MS Office) with ERP/SAP experience; familiarity with SOX is a plus.
- Effective communicator across all levels; adaptable, trustworthy, and able to build strong relationships.
- Enthusiastic, persistent team player; comfortable in complex, multi-discipline environments; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Goal-driven professional with receivables experience, ideally in a multinational setting.
