Job Description
The Oligonucleotide Production Technician I - Purification will perform tasks associated with the purification of oligonucleotides in a high throughput, time sensitive manufacturing environment.
- Operates HPLC and/or RPC instruments.
- Comprehend chromatography techniques.
- Utilizes mass spectrometry and spectrophotometer instruments to obtain crude data.
- Performs all other assigned job functions outlined in work instructions provided by supervisor.
- Schedule/Core Hours – Tues-Fri swing shift (1pm-11pm) schedule with potential for overtime hours as the workload requires and with manager’s pre-approval.
- Adherence to company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline is required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience and/or demonstrates proficiency to meet the requirements of an Oligo Production Tech I.
- Pipette use, chemical handling, HPLC experience.
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Oligo-specific purification experience, extensive chemical analysis knowledge is preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $ 20.913/Hourly
Maximum: $ 24.857/Hourly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California -based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.
