Salesforce Developer Intern

The Collaboration & Data Services team is looking for an intern interested in Salesforce Development. The program is designed to prepare high potential interns for future positions in Leidos by exposing them to a variety of challenging work assignments and pairing them with team members who will provide mentoring throughout their internship. Our teams are fast-paced, strategic and highly motivated to meet customer needs. Successful candidates typically have a high-energy level, strong enthusiasm, passion for problem solving & innovative thinking, and strong communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

- Contribute to team projects, including stand-up meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews

- Learn and apply Salesforce best practices, understanding different design patterns and approaches

- Collaborate on designing Salesforce solutions under the guidance of the architect

- Contribute to the development of Salesforce components and applications

- Participate in testing solutions, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring system stability and performance

- Assist with creating and maintaining technical and system configuration documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

The program considers college students who have completed 2 years toward their degree—who have demonstrated a record of high performance, and a willingness to learn. Intern Program Criteria:

- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university in related field of study

- Academic excellence

- Demonstrated leadership abilities and skills

- Energy, enthusiasm and competitive edge

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Willingness to continually learn and grow

- Ability to Work in Team
- Ability to work under pressure

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

- Major in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills

- Knowledge of Agile development

Pay Range:

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
