Compensation: Starting at $90,000+ annually (based on experience)
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of industrial power and control systems. This position involves hands-on engineering work and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable electrical solutions from concept through implementation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and design electrical systems for power distribution and control applications
- Generate and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and bills of materials
- Support new product development as well as modifications to existing systems
- Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and internal engineering practices
- Provide technical guidance to production and operations teams as needed
- Maintain organized engineering records, documentation, and revision control
- Partner with project teams from order release through final delivery
- Monitor project progress and support adherence to established timelines
- Participate in project reviews and coordination meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design efficiency and product performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical or power systems design
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with control system components such as relays, breakers, contactors, and metering devices
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens experience preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (current version)
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring, integration, and system layout within equipment or structures
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with electromechanical systems
