Equifax is seeking a Product Manager who will create and own software solutions for Justice Intelligence suite of products with portal, API, and batch solutions with unique data assets.

 

This position will report into the Technical Product Leader for Intelligence. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to bring solutions to market and support migration of customers from legacy offerings.

This role is will require working a hybrid schedule, in the office 3 days per week, at one of the following office locations: St Louis, Louisville or Atlanta.

What you’ll do:

• Write user stories and requirements that will be used by design, engineering, and other peers to deliver software products.

• Conduct the research needed to understand customers’ needs and obtain information in order to make thoughtful product decisions in line with strategy.

• Bring together design, engineering, operations, project, sales, and client relationship teams to deliver plans for new products and features.

• Quickly assess a problem, make decisions, and take the best course of action with confidence.

• Communicate regularly with current and potential stakeholders and customers using in person and remote communication to understand problems and discover user needs

• With an eye towards business and customer goals, help set vision and priorities for product roadmap and features based on input from both internal and external stakeholders. Manage work intake process to keep priorities and work updated 

• Determine direction and scope of present and future product offerings and features based on data

• Bring new product features and products to market by developing product requirements with a bias towards return-on-investment.

• Conscious of and working to ensure margin and profitability goals are met.

• Assist with product pricing initiatives utilizing market research data and understanding development costs.

What experience you need:

• 5+ years in product management or other relevant work experience

• 2+ years experience working with scrum and Agile methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent job experience

What could set you apart:

• Experience with SQL, Jira, Google collaboration tools a plus

• Proven communicator with strong written and verbal skills that support  in person and remote team structure; the ability to get things done through collaboration, clear direction, and detail. 

• Technical, design, and analytics skills; understand design patterns, can communicate visually, and can create functional specs and wireframes.

• Experience delivering B2C and B2B software solutions

• Effective time management; able to prioritize and manage multiple deadline-oriented projects simultaneously for yourself and your team.

• Proven ability to collaborate and accomplish outcomes with professionals at all organizational levels

• Business acumen and an understanding of potential revenue, total addressable market, churn rate and other factors that need to be considered when setting product strategy

• Ability to collaborate and contribute recommendations to enhance product marketing and training strategy

• Self-reflect, admit mistakes, and seek improvement.

• Proven willingness and ability to make positive contributions in a team environment
