Senior Frontend Engineer

CloudZero makes profitable innovation a reality for cloud-driven organizations. The CloudZero Cost Intelligence platform is a single source of cloud cost truth for engineering teams, finance organizations, and product teams building SaaS software. Using data from multiple sources, CloudZero helps customers understand their margins, unit costs and how to architect more cost-effective software.

We’re looking to add a senior front-end engineer to a new product team we are building out. Our product teams are staffed with five engineers, with support from a product manager, an engineering manager, and a product designer. Our senior engineers are the engines of these teams, helping define how to reach our end goals, breaking down that work for the team, and then assisting the team in building high-quality software to delight our end users.

This new product team will ensure that the CloudZero platform is the leader in quickly bringing in cost and customer data. This team will become experts on how our customers use third-party SaaS and PaaS tools and build features on our platform to make it easy to bring their usage data in to join with our differentiated cost data model.

Requirements

You will:

• Design, build, and maintain frontends for our main application.
• Build to scale as we bring in users with larger datasets and more prominent organizations.
• Write readable code that is easy to maintain and extend.
• Collaborate with other engineers on your team to build features that solve real customer problems.
• Help improve our engineering processes and system to ensure we have a group that can move fast and iterates quickly, giving everyone agency, ownership, and ability to impact the company's success.

You might be a great fit if:

• You enjoy and have 7+ years of experience building frontend code that is easy to support, quick to add, and delights end users.
• You have a passion for building and delivering high-quality front-end software. Our front end is TypeScript & React, so please be comfortable with those technologies.
• You are comfortable working 9-5 ET - we have a fair amount of flexibility for people to get their work done whenever works for them, but our core hours are in the Eastern Timezone.
• You are passionate about frontend design and pragmatically applying theory into practice when architecting systems and code.
• You enjoy working with cross-functional teams, synthesizing feedback and research into a well-polished product.
