Recently released projects include John Wick: Chapter 4, Black Adam, Disney's The Little Mermaid, and Love, Death and Robots Volume 3, for which the company won a 2023 VES award.</p><ul></ul><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Lighting Artist will create lighting and shading techniques and deliver final renders for the Compositing Department, ensuring to meet the high-quality standards of Rodeo FX.</p><p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop lighting setups in 3D and troubleshoot rendering issues;</li><li>Work closely with the CG and Lighting Supervisors to find creative and technical solutions and approaches that enhance shots, while meeting project specifications and deadlines;</li><li>May participate in the development of tools and techniques for the department;</li><li>Perform quality control on shots before they are submitted for review/approval, ensuring all technical and creative standards are met, and promptly apply notes received;</li><li>Keep Production and the project team informed of the status of work, issues to be resolved, ramifications of problems encountered and recommend potential solutions;</li><li>Ensure deadlines are met, advising the project team promptly if delays could be expected. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Lighting Artist in the VFX industry, working on photorealistic projects.</li><li>Excellent proficiency in Houdini and Solaris, with several years of hands-on experience.</li><li>Strong expertise in Nuke and Arnold.</li><li>Very good knowledge of Flow Production Tracking.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>6-month renewable CDDU (fixed-term contract).</li><li>On-site position at our studio, located 5 minutes from Gare de l'Est</li></ul><p>#LI-Onsite</p><p><em>At Rodeo FX, diversity is a core value.
