How this role fits in at Capella

This role is within Capella Space's CapTech (IT) Team. This is an on-site customer service focused role based in our Louisville, CO office. You will be a part of the team which is relied upon to answer user questions, assist with software or hardware help, and troubleshoot computer related issues for both on-site and remote employees.

What you'll be doing during your internship

You will be a part of an onsite team overseeing IT tickets as they arrive in our ticketing system or our instant messenger to triage and troubleshoot issues and requests. Interact daily with Capella employees of all levels, providing excellent customer service. You will be working with Windows (Dell and Lenovo), Mac, and Linux laptops and will assist in setting up workstations for new and visiting employees. In addition, assist in maintaining conference rooms, assuring systems are working and supplies, such as laptop chargers, are in stock. You will also support A/V equipment for company-wide meetings and events. You may also be involved in larger projects such as server room work or rolling out a new device, product, or process.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience with troubleshooting Windows and Mac computers, Linux is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to triage computer issues resolve or escalate as needed
  • The ability to prioritize work based on severity or the requestor
  • Be curious and want to learn

Compensation

The target pay for this position is $25/hour. The actual pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
