Job Title: Pricing Specialist

Job Description:

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and managing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness. This role involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and internal data to make informed pricing decisions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy Development:

• Assist with analyzing market conditions, competitive landscapes, and customer demands to develop effective pricing strategies.
• Recommend pricing adjustments based on analysis and business objectives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to pricing, sales, and market trends.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Competitive Analysis:

• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to ensure the company’s pricing remains competitive.
• Conduct benchmarking studies and assess competitive positioning.

Pricing Model Management:

• Maintain pricing models and tools to support pricing decisions.
• Ensure pricing models are aligned with business strategies and financial goals.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals and market      conditions.
• Provide pricing recommendations for new products and promotions.

Compliance and Accuracy:

• Ensure pricing accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Address and resolve pricing-related issues and discrepancies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education:      Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
• Experience:     2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, pricing software).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with pricing strategy ideally in our industry.
• Familiarity with pricing software and analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive positioning.
