The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist with expertise in Learning and Development (L&D) and factory experience to join the Factory and Program Leadership Development Team as a Senior Program Lead.  This opportunity can be based in Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; Portland, OR; Mesa, AZ or San Antonio, TX.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with leaders and the business units to solve their most important leadership development challenges. Your primary responsibility in this position will be to design and execute leadership development programs (including but not limited to Transition to Senior Leadership) that support business priorities and deliver measurable business impact to our leaders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and implement a strategy for Leadership Development

  • Manage program/portfolio effectiveness to learner and business needs

  • Partner with business leaders, the L&D leadership team and Human Resources (HR) business partners to understand key priorities and learner needs, and execute strategy for leadership programs and learning offerings

  • Apply cutting-edge best practices in adult learning theory to design, develop, and deliver L&D solutions that drive measurable improvements in employee capability and proficiency

  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to the Factory and Program Leadership Development leadership team

  • Partner with the L&D leadership team to build and deliver core and common Enterprise L&D solutions across our multiple businesses

  • Determine when business unit specific solutions must be developed to address critical requirements and identify opportunities to test and scale solutions across the Enterprise

  • Take a data-driven approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of L&D interventions

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise L&D team to share best practices, resources, and lessons learned

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with production systems in manufacturing, fulfillment, and/or quality

  • 3+ years of experience designing programs for senior leadership

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams guiding and influencing senior leaders (formally and/or informally) in a matrixed organization

  • 3+ years of experience simultaneously managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with adult learning theory and contemporary practices for the design, development, delivery, and measurement of L&D solutions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • 3+ years of facilitation of leadership development

  • Experience designing and delivering transitional leadership programs

  • Experience in aligning learning strategy with business strategy to drive the highest level of organizational performance
