The Aero NU (New Units) FP&A Leader is a high-visibility role with global scope, managing financial planning and analysis as well as supporting closing and KPI reporting efforts for a growing ~$3B business. This leader will drive operating rigor and financial transparency to enhance business decision-making. The individual will partner cross-functionally to ensure strategic alignment, while utilizing a continuous improvement mindset to further standardize and improve complex global reporting processes.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage standard NU FP&A processes for key financial metrics, including monthly operating reviews, forecasts, annual budget, and long-range forecast cycle
• Support quarterly and monthly closing activities including creating DR submissions and supplemental analytics
• Deliver detailed understanding and insights on orders, revenue, and margin drivers and variances
• Drive weekly/monthly management rigor of key leading indicators for the Aero NU business
• Apply lean to implement process simplification and improvement actions across FP&A workflows, ensuring process documentation and sustainability
• Own RPO (Remaining Performance Obligation) forecasts across units, GWs, price, and margin
• Support business, HQ, and FP&A team on ad hoc requests

Leadership

• Serve as a trusted partner to Aero FP&A Leader as well as Aero NU CFO, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
• Bring structure and discipline to complex financial processes while connecting detailed analysis to broader business priorities
• Ensure leadership has timely access to accurate financial data and actionable insights for Aero New Unit business
• Effectively manage 1 subcontractor to achieve desired outcomes

Required Qualifications

• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in Finance & FP&A Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
• EU Work Permit
• For roles in USA – bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Finance & FP&A Management.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to support peak workload demands during closing periods. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
• Master’s Degree from an accredited university of college.
• GE FMP (Financial Management Program) and/or CAS/OFLP graduate
• Strong command of global FP&A rhythms and operating mechanisms
• Data-driven and process-oriented mindset with a track record of improving reporting accuracy
• Proven ability to drive outcomes in evolving environments
• Previous experience in the Aero business line

Le responsable FP&A pour l’entité Aero NU (New Units) occupe un poste à haute visibilité d’envergure mondiale. Il est chargé de gérer la planification et l’analyse financières (FP&A), ainsi que de soutenir les activités de clôture et de reporting des indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) pour une activité en croissance d'environ 3 milliards de dollars. Ce responsable devra instaurer une rigueur opérationnelle et une transparence financière pour améliorer la prise de décision stratégique. Il travaillera en partenariat avec les différentes fonctions pour assurer l'alignement stratégique, tout en utilisant une approche d'amélioration continue pour standardiser et optimiser les processus de reporting mondiaux complexes.

Rôles et Responsabilités

• Gérer les processus standard de FP&A pour les indicateurs financiers clés, notamment les revues opérationnelles mensuelles, les prévisions, le budget annuel et le cycle de prévisions à long terme.
• Soutenir les activités de clôture trimestrielles et mensuelles, y compris la création des soumissions DR et des analyses complémentaires.
