Contractor Program Security Officer

Responsibilities

This candidate will function as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to multiple Peraton Labs programs supporting a variety of customers. The position is in our Bedford, NH office.   The ideal candidate would be proficient and capable of execution of duties pertaining to Special Access Program (SAP) personnel security, physical security, and information security. Implement security processes necessary to protect classified information, with strict adherence to 32 CFR, DoD 5205.07 Vol 1-4 SAP Security Manual, ICDs and other applicable Executive Order and DOD regulations.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

• Administer and coordinate security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with National Policy.
• Establish and maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractor employees, and managers.
• Administer all day-to-day program, operational and administrative support to PMO, government, program personnel and vendors.
• Develop, review, and maintain Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides and Policy documents.
• Provide classification management support and reviews.
• Administer security indoctrinations, refresher briefings, and debriefings. Update all security management systems with personnel actions taken.
• Operate and maintain a security education training and awareness program to include indoctrinations, annual refresher training, debriefings, and program specific training.
• Effectively manage all phases of an inquiry or investigation. Prepare incident reports and mitigation requirements as necessary.
• Attend and support program team meetings and provide program guidance, decision, policies, and procedures.
• Oversight of the processing of new employee security clearances to include actions within government systems of record DISS, JADE, eCPRL.
• Responsible for interpreting policies and develops/implements appropriate security plans and procedures.
• Pass and exceed minimum expectations with government assessments and inspections.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Masters Degree and 6 years of experience. 
• Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
• US Citizenship
• DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance, or the ability to obtain one is required.
• SAP (Special Access Programs) Experience
• Introduction to Special Access Programs CDSE Certification is a plus.
• CSSO Course Certificate is a plus.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
