Sr. Associate, Project Management-Horizontals

The Horizontal Product team is responsible for defining and leading key strategic and cross-cutting initiatives within Enterprise Consumer Products, ensuring the successful launch of new digital experiences across multiple platforms. This team works closely with hundreds of platforms and stakeholders to solve novel and/or complex problems at scale.
We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for strategic planning and managing some of our most complicated use cases. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering closely with our lines of business to understand their pain points, build project plans, and refine requirements to achieve destination outcomes. You’ll work with a cross-functional group of TPMs, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure delivery of capabilities that meet short-term and long-term goals.

Provide support to the Horizontals team in a well-managed and intentional way, anticipating and responding to requests with speed, simplicity, and accuracy.
Identify impactful issues and take ownership of resolution actions.
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
Implement and maintain a structured approach with an eye on transparency and consistency of delivery and prioritization.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of experience in Project or Process Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters or MBA degree
3+ years of Project or Process Management experience
1+ year of experience working directly with Senior Leadership across varied business functions
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
