Raytheon’s System Engineering and Test Capability (SE&TC) team is seeking a Cross Product Team (CPT) lead for the Taiwan Indigenous Defense Submarine Ships 2+ program to manage the execution of the Systems scope. This role will be responsible for ensuring all systems scope within the program is executed, managing budgets, EACs and coordinating staffing for this scope of work.
What You Will Do:
Assignment will include guiding a team that supports multi-disciplined IPTs across several different program phases including new development, production and sustainment. The team will provide systems support including design and analysis; architecting new systems; developing and documenting updated system requirements and test plans; peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert; presentations to peers, management, and customers.
Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems.
Interfacing with Program Management and the Office of the Chief Engineer and managing relationships with SE&TC Functional Management. This includes managing and reporting earned value management, cost accounts, EACs and staffing.
Work with customers and suppliers on requirements and other systems related topics.
Assignments may require some travel to support design reviews and system testing.
Lead the team to build a strong culture of mentoring, supporting employees in building relationships as both mentors and mentees.
Work environment is onsite, primarily in an office.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
Experience in earned value management and cost account management
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working with sonar or similar systems
Experience with Agile Programs
Experience managing cross product teams.
Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle.
Experience with international customers and programs.
