Project Manager - Senior

The Sr Project Manger shall provide a Senior Program/Project Manager to serve as the single point of contact between the Government and Contractor personnel assigned to support the contract and shall provide continuous customer service for all tasks. The Senior PM shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of the contract and shall communicate with the COR throughout the performance period. In addition, the PM shall provide technical and administrative supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the contract, supervise ongoing technical efforts, and manage contract performance. The name of this individual and any alternate(s), who shall act on behalf of the Contractor, shall be designated and provided in writing to the CO and COR for review and approval, prior to Contractor’s commencement of work.

The PM shall interface with Government management personnel, provide staffing and management of workorders, personnel, and administrative functions related to specific tasks, and shall ensure that technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. The PM shall direct and manage staff assignments, monitor product quality, and ensure project milestones meet deliverable schedules, and reports on project status are delivered in a timely manner to the COR. Further, the Senior PM shall demonstrate expertise in leading teams and managing projects of national scope, including VA initiatives and Federal Government organization. The Senior PM shall also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience developing and delivering executive-level briefings and presentations, and developing briefing materials and tools, including presentations, reports, and information papers.

Requirements

The Senior PM shall have at least four (4) years of demonstrated experience supervising and/or leading teams and possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in business, management, or program/project management with a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a combination of 10 years of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform these tasks. The PM shall also possess and maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent industry recognized PM certification, throughout the duration of the contract.

Bachelor’s degree required

Required active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification

Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Hybrid in Washington, D.C area
