Job Summary
We're looking for an Art Director with significant agency experience to join our team. In this role, you'll partner with writers and other team members for concept development and execution as well as take part in presenting creative pieces to clients.
Responsibilities
- Experienced in design execution of color theory, spatial relationships, typography, and composition
- Utilizes knowledge of print production, photography, videography and digital design (web, mobile apps, banner ads, etc.) when designing and executing creative solutions
- Strong understanding of usability, information architecture, and responsive design
- Provides an original and unique perspective and innovative ideas throughout the conceptualization process that reflect a full understanding of the client’s brand, audience, marketing strategy, and industry; is able to clearly articulate thoughts and provide value in brainstorming sessions by making connections between unrelated notions, thinking in abstract terms and building off of the ideas and concepts of others.
- Interacts with clients; participates in meetings and effectively presents concepts and finished work
- Delights clients with outstanding creative concepts and designs
- Demonstrates ownership of assigned brand by continually and proactively coming up with new ideas
- Is driven by an inherent curiosity and thirst for knowledge, to learn and adapt as the industry evolves to bring new thinking and ideas to our clients and the team
- Keeps up to date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and related communications industries; keeps up to date with trends within the industries specific to assigned accounts
- Adheres to project scope, budget, and timeline, while delivering high quality work; ensures the creative meets stated objectives and goals
- Effectively manages priorities and allocates resources as needed throughout project execution
Qualifications
- Significant experience working in an agency in a creative position
- Preferred: Experience within pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environment
- Required: Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
- Motivated individual with entrepreneurial spirit
