Who we're looking for
Zendesk is looking for a Senior Treasury Manager to join a team that is tasked to assist in scaling the global treasury functions. Zendesk Treasury is a core Finance team, and you will be a member that can play a key part in all areas of the department. You will partner with key players from Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Legal and IT to enhance cash flow forecasting and visibility, optimize banking operations, partner on transformational projects, and establish controls among others. This role reports to the Senior Director, Treasury.
What you'll be doing
Drive growth and scalability by supporting the global treasury team to implement strategic plans for global cash management, intercompany funding, and payments
Identify and enhance cash flow forecasting processes and reporting
Contribute in developing and monitoring net working capital improvements and liquidity strategies
Support debt management and compliance, including financial modeling
Monitor and review our investment portfolios to ensure compliance with our investment policy
Contribute to new enhancements and capabilities for our TMS system
Assist in cross functional projects such as transformation projections and new system integrations
Foster strong professional relationships with bank, internal stakeholders, and sponsors
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and internal controls
Prepare and present financial reports to top management and stakeholders, deriving insights for decision-making
Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks, including managing the business risk insurance renewals
Examine initiatives and process improvements in Treasury and work with team members to create a roadmap
Lead and mentor team members
What you bring to the role
8-10+ years experience in Treasury in a global and publicly traded company or multinational company, MBA/CFA a plus.
A validated ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives
Consistent record of mentoring and developing talents
An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and lead a team in a fast-moving environment
An inclination to solve problems systematically via infrastructure and automation.
A builder’s mentality with a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including enhanced senior management and presentation skills
Advanced financial modeling, PowerPoint and Excel (can build complex spreadsheets) skills (G-suite proficiency a plus)
Curious and motivated to learn and master new skills!
In this role, you’ll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. We’ll provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together–even when we’re apart. Being digital first doesn’t mean we’re digital only. You’ll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces.
