Sr. System Administrator - Linux

The <strong>Managing/Senior Principal Consultant</strong> will design and implement individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. Analyze detailed requirements and develop detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning. Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.<br />

<u><strong>Requirements</strong></u>
<ul>
<li>TS/SCI FSP Clearance</li>
<li>10 years overall IT experience, with at least 8 years' experience in a production System Administration role</li>
<li>Linux - (CentOS/RHEL) administrator concepts and principles</li>
<li>VMWare VM creation, configuration, and operation experience</li>
<li>Enterprise Automation using Ansiple</li>
<li>Scripting: Shell, Python preferred</li>
<li>Physical Server Administration</li>
<li>Storage
<ul>
<li>Management (ex LG, PV, LVM)</li>
<li>Protocols (ex NFS, SAMBA, ISCSI)</li>
<li>SAN Storage configuration</li>
<li>Understanding of network storage (ex NAS and SAN)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Networking
<ul>
<li>Understanding of networking concepts and principles</li>
<li>Routing, IPSec</li>
</ul>

<li>Security Compliance
<ul>
<li>YUM Patching</li>
<li>IAVA Remediation</li>
<li>Server certificate management</li>
<li>Automation (ex Ansible, Puppet, SALT)</li>
