Technical Program Manager/Compliance - DeviceOS PCI

What does a successful Technical Program Manager/Compliance - DeviceOS PCI  do at Fiserv?

As a Technical Program Manager/Compliance on the DeviceOS team, you will play a crucial role in driving security and compliance for our Clover hardware ecosystem, with a strong focus on PCI PTS, PCI PIN, and PCI P2PE requirements. What you will do:

  • Work with Partners / Labs to ensure devices get certified quickly and smoothly.
  • Manage and prioritize requests from merchants, partners, certification labs, and internal teams, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Manage the compliance process for each new hardware device.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including asset flows, key schedules, and implementation details.
  • Participate in status meetings, contribute to timeline planning, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Explain Clover’s implementation details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assess the compliance impact of proposed changes and new features against PCI PTS and P2PE standards.
  • Support audits and guide teams through the certification process to ensure compliance.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education, and military.
  • 5 Years of experience in Technical Program Management.
  • Experience in PCI PTS/P2PE/PIN standards and payment transaction flows is required.
  • Experience in Device Compliance.
  • Experience with source control tools and markup languages for versioning technical documents (e.g., Git, DocBook, Lucidchart).
  • Proficiency in authoring and updating documents using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or LibreOffice.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical matters effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain internally consistent documentation.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with successful audits or certifications in the PCI PTS/P2PE space.
  • Experience partnering with PCI Labs.
  • Understanding of cryptography and mathematics used in payment terminal security.
  • Ability to explain compliance options in business terms to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to accommodate calls across multiple time zones while maintaining office presence.

Salary Range

$124,300.00 - $213,100.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
