Objective of the position:

Develop and support the implementation of transportation solutions strategies (combustion and zev) with innovative business solutions to delight our customers. Leverage market analysis ans product technology to provide our customers with high quality, reliable, business solutions. Present the strategic steps to shape a best in the class transportation solutions to build the road map for Daimler Trucks in Mexico with a flexible plan that enables the continuous evolution and applicability expansion for our customers and their businesses. Support the alignment of the strategy with our business partners at Daimler Truck to leverage global development opportunities and product evolution to new and emerging technologies. Leverage Market Data to identify and translate market opportunities into actionable recommendations for the company.

Main Functions:

• Develop, support and deploy Truck and Technology strategies for Daimler Trucks Mexico, attending the specific market needs with a reliable and flexible platform. Pursue best in class solutions to keep ICE platform competitive as long as our customers need them.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and product portfolio to aid on the formulation and deployment of new business models attending specific market needs.
• Collect, analyze and extrapolate strategic product technology, to support a Market Development Strategy for Daimler Trucks Mexico (DTM).
• Create synergies with DTNA to leverage global development solutions for e-Mobility (ZEV), develop an electrification road-map attending the local market needs and environmental initiatives. Drive specific actions to lead the industry in Mexico with solutions.
• High Performing, Inspired People. Lead a motivated team with a clear and specific plan where everyone collaborates and is driven out of his or her contribution to the organization. Leverage One on One sessions to instill development to top performance, providing coaching, nurturing skills & seeking opportunities to delegate tasks, providing respectful and objective
