Senior Product Designer - New venture - Door to Door

About Door-to-DoorAs part of our ambition to fill the millions of empty seats on the road, we’re looking at cracking the carpool Door-To-Door usage. Could there be a product to pick up and drop off passengers exactly where they want on a long-distance ride, leveraging our community of carpool drivers? This would make passengers even more convenient while maximizing our drivers' savings. We’re launching a dedicated, independent team to build a new product and usage to crack this usage.

Your mission

• As the Senior Product Designer, you’ll contribute to creating that product and all the iterations until we’ve found the right one that can be scaled. Your contribution will be around the following:
• Act as an advocate for our users within that new business unit
• Work closely with a small cross-functional team (product manager, product marketing manager engineers, product designers) with a strong design culture and focus on research
• Define real and precise user problems to solve by collaborating with product, data, and research through analysing large amounts of data, seeking out & gathering deep customer insights with different exploratory tools and methods
• Build smart, scalable, and consistent end-to-end experience by applying a rigorous design process from the overarching story, to architecture, to micro-interaction, using design systems as a guiding framework
• Create design documentation and high-fidelity prototypes for sharing your work with both new and informed stakeholders

You’ll be supported by a Senior Product Manager and a Senior Product Marketing Manager fully dedicated to the project. You’ll also be able to leverage other resources within the organisation. You’ll directly report to the Product Design leader.

• Build, test, and learn on a new usage that doesn’t exist today
• Contribute to a business unit creation
• Define goals and success with clearly measurable objectives and key results
• Implement a best-in-class product

Your qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on user experience design, including designing mobile/web apps.
• Love to dig into complex problems and identify key opportunities to deliver simple, scalable and measurable solutions efficiently and quickly.
• Passionate about every UX touch point from research, to marketing and product marketing, to pixels, and content.
• Excellent communication skills, great storytelling skills and you enjoy sharing and learning from others.
• Organized, results-driven, and are able to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Fluency in English
• Nice to have: Previous experience working with Figma
