Collins Aerospace an RTX Company is seeking a program planning professional to join the Integrated Program Finance department.
This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager and works collaboratively with the Program to develop, maintain, and evaluate performance against the Program Measurement Baseline. During the program execution phase, the Program Planner is the focal point for changes and updates to the IMS. The successful candidate must be able to identify and recommend insightful mitigation plans to ensure that the IMS is used by program teams as a predictive model and as a valued management tool. This position requires a highly analytical, data driven, results oriented team member that proactively seeks out data, engages stakeholders, and facilitates closure of commitments. The applicant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with governmental and customer requirements.
This is a Remote based role.
What You Will Do:
- Creation and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) compliant with governmental and corporate requirements which demonstrate the necessary cost and schedule integration
- Detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance. The weekly and monthly business rhythms will require communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), schedule variance analysis and the results of ‘what if’ exercises to the Program Manager, the customer and potentially to senior management
- Assist in planning and cost estimating tasks, perform analyses, and prepare reports to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments. This includes internal weekly and monthly program schedule review packages and compliant external Contractual Data Requirements List submittals
- Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work and perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis and other forms of in-depth and actionable schedule related analysis
- Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic contract schedule baselines
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & 5 years finance related work experience; OR and Advanced degree and 3 years finance related work experience
- Experience with Earned Value
- Experience with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- SAP, APEX, Rplan, BW, PMX, and EDIT+ experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
- Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Must be independent and self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload
- Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment and meet critical deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
