Position type: Exempt

As HR-Business Partner you will be the first point of contact and advisor to the management of Plansee US in Franklin MA for people related topics. In this role you are part of the international HR-Business Partner Community

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact to the local leadership team providing guidance and advise to the management teams along the entire employee lifecycle and represent the HR service portfolio within the location

• Collect, analyse and prioritize business needs and translate into HR and leadership actions, by strong collaboration with the global HR-Community and ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.

• Interface to the international HR community with its expert structure (e.g., People Development, People Acquisition, HR Operations, etc.) and close collaboration for deriving, defining, and implementing personnel strategic measures based on the corporate strategy

• Advising the management team on operational and strategic HR issues (i.e. succession planing) and organizational changes

• Integration into the network of international HR Business Partners and active participation in international and cross-group projects 

Qualification:

• Completed, relevant degree for this position (e.g. Business Administration, Psychology) with several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in an internationally manufacturing company

• Ability to understand and connect aspects of strategy, corporate culture, personnel systems, and individual behaviour patterns

• Willingness and ability in working in an international matrix structure

• Open communication, diplomatic approach, negotiation skills, and persistence

• Understanding of global economic contexts, extensive knowledge of HR management
