Senior Technical Instructor (USA)

Type of Position: Full-time

Location: US, remote

This position is responsible for developing Project Based Curriculum for Codasip's University Program. The University Program's three pillars include Preparing the Next Generation of Researchers, Training the next Generation of Engineers, and Developing Solutions to Solve Tomorrow's Technological Problems.

The Curriculum roadmap includes developing two FPGA based project-based assignment course curriculum for Fall 2023; an undergraduate course in realizing a customized RISC-V processor in a FPGA and a graduate RISC-V System-on-Chip course.

• Type of work:
  • This position is within Codasip's Labs team which aims to extend the possible, bridging the gap between innovative research and commercialization. The University Program's curriculum targets both undergraduate and graduate level courses. The near term roadmap includes two FPGA based courses with follow-on courses in Advanced Computer Architecture material.
  • Within the Labs organization, there are resources available in Computer Architecture, FPGA, and Course development. Codasip Labs focuses technology leadership in Processor Security, Functional Safety, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Low Power, and Real-Time Embedded Systems.

Requirements

• APPRECIATED EDUCATION
  • Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Control Theory
  • Computer Engineering or Computer Architecture (high want)
• WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW
  • C or C++
  • Verilog or SystemVerilog
  • System-on-Chip FPGA design
  • Xilinx or Altera experience
  • Vivado or Quartus development environments
  • RISC-V architecture (high want)
