Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (North Side) | Pay: $24 - $26 per hour BOE

Are you handy and love helping people? Arbors Management Inc. is looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at two independent living buildings for seniors and disabled residents on the North Side of Pittsburgh.

In this full-time role, you'll get to work with a variety of tasks each day, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and grounds-keeping. If you enjoy mixing up your day and working with a great team, we want to hear from you!

Typical Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with some rotating on-call for after-hours emergencies)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect property grounds, common areas, and apartment units
• Communicate with tenants to address repair needs
• Perform various repairs, including:
  • Painting and drywall repair
  • Intermediate electrical (outlets, switches, fixtures)
  • Intermediate plumbing (leaks, fixture changes, drain clogs)
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, restrooms, and public areas
• Grounds-keeping, including grass cutting and snow removal
• Complete work orders and repairs
• Be available for emergency after-hours calls

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of maintenance experience (or related field)
• Ability to perform physical tasks like bending, standing, walking, and climbing
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
