Summary

Other Conditions: Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected begin August 2026 or soon thereafter. Not to exceed June 30, 2027.
Duties:
- Provide instruction in didactic areas of pharmacy calculations, community pharmacy skills, top 350 drugs, interprofessional education, and clinical and skills assessments in both the in-person and extended, online PharmD curriculum.
- Pharmacist licensure in the State of Hawaii at the time of hire.
- Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university.
- Pharmacy practice experience of 1-3 years with experience teaching pharmacy students.
- Willingness to collaborate with other faculty on team taught courses.
- Experience in professional clinical training related to pharmacy education.
- Five (5) years pharmacy practice experience.
- Prior teaching experience in a PharmD program or graduate/professional education and in precepting PharmD students.
- Successful completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency program or post-doctoral fellowship.
- Experience with curricular development, assessment and evaluation in a PharmD program.
- Knowledge of the accreditation standards of the Accreditation Council for Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
- Cover letter explaining how qualifications are met.
- A current resume.

- Transcript(s) showing degrees and course work appropriate to the position (copies are acceptable; however, original official transcripts will be required prior to employment).
