We are seeking an Azure Databricks DevOps Lead to join our internal projects team in a full-time, remote role.

About the Role

This is a leadership position where you will design, architect, and optimize our Azure-based Data Lakehouse platform. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and optimize Databricks Pipelines for large-scale data processing

• Manage Azure infrastructure components (Databricks, AKS/ACI, Storage, Networking)

• Implement monitoring & observability frameworks with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana

• Enable microservices-based architecture for modular data solutions

• Drive automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD using Terraform, ARM, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps

What We’re Looking For

• 9+ years in Data & Analytics

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with Azure & Databricks

• Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure Services

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting (Python, Bash)

• Familiarity with Data Governance, Security, and Cost Optimization

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Event Grid)

• Understanding of Data Mesh principles
