Job Summary:
Monitors the organization's finances towards effective and economical utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Monitors and evaluates the performance of activities in order to ensure quality of work. Reassigns personnel to different tasks or patient care activities to achieve most effective utilization of skills and abilities or to equalize workloads.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree finance or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree in business administration: preferred
- Five years' finance experience: Preferred
- One year's leadership experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Analyzes and identifies any trends that effect quality of services, implementing corrective plan of action including new or modified programs, additional training or any of measure to improve quality.
- Assists with pro forma operating statements and various cost and financial analysis. Provides productivity support and analysis. Provides month-end analyses. Provides cost analysis across the organization.
- Establishes departmental goals and objectives to facilitate achievement of organizational goals. Establishes departmental budget aligned with department and organizational goals.
- Provides adequate orientation, training and continuing education to assure staff are competent in job responsibilities, to promote professional development, and to assure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Monitors employee performance in order to ensure high quality service and efficient and effective work processes. Participates in the decision to hire new personnel and in candidate evaluation.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
