Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of multiple corporate dining locations.   This individual will act as a trusted financial partner to operational leaders and clients, providing clear insights into financial results, identifying variances, and translating data into actionable business decisions. This role will also assist with all the accounting and control functions at the accounts including revenue and expense reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and monthly financial reporting requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze GL, P&L statements, and variances, clearly explaining results and budget deviations to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous financial process improvement.
  • Oversees all cash handling procedures.
  • Performs reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyzes financial results for both internal and external use.
  • Develops forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Resolves various accounting/reconciliation issues.
  • Completes financial reports: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting; manages report preparation and distribution.
  • Improves financial status by compiling and analyzing budgets and forecast, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and considering "what if” scenarios to bring forth suggestions
  • Maintains inventory and cost control procedures.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • This is a hybrid role with travel requirements of up to 20%.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling responsibilities.
  • Accounting experience in foodservice, retail, or hospitality industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses.
  • Adept at planning, organizing and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial information.
  • Experience with POS, cash and credit card reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Proven problem solver and self‑starter who thrives in a collaborative, client‑facing setting.
  • Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
