CMG Home Loans is looking for a top producing experienced Loan Processor to support 3 of our top producing Loan Officers in Austin, Texas. They are responsible for performing necessary tasks to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete processing of loan files.
Must be a top producing processor able to process 30+ loans a month.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Process residential mortgage loans (Conventional, Purchase, FHA, VA, Bond , Non-QM and Refinance) in a manner consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements.
- Obtain and review required loan documentation and submits complete loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
- Manages a pipeline of loans and maintains timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process.
- Communicates with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders and agents.
- Provides excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
- Monitors and ensures closing dates and company deadlines are met.
- Obtains and verifies that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the underwriter and prepares the file for submission to the Closing Department.
- Keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the company and the mortgage industry. Understands and applies local, state and federal regulations related to processing mortgage loans.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4-5 years of Retail loan processing experience.
- Must have experience processing Government (FHA/VA) loans including Bond, Non-QM and Conventional loans.
- Processing 30+ loans a month.
- Familiarity with Point required. Experience with BYTE a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to work in a fast paced fluid environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
Base Compensation Information – This role is currently allocated for candidates within geographic regions that do not currently require base wage disclosure. The compensation range for this position will be provided upon request. (Due to their geographic location, residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City are excluded from this role at this time.)
