Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Private Tax/PFS - Seasonal Senior Associate, you will focus on providing personalized tax planning and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and privately-owned businesses. Within our Tax practice, you will help clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions, offering advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. This role is client-facing, allowing you to build meaningful connections and deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and manage assigned workstreams, developing deliverables within client service engagements. You will have the discretion to proactively review the quality of Associates’ tasks and projects, mentoring junior team members while maintaining professional and technical standards. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work and embracing increased ambiguity. This role offers the opportunity to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

- Providing personalized tax planning and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and privately-owned businesses
- Navigating complex tax regulations to optimize clients' tax positions and strategies
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs to deliver quality service
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and generate insights
- Applying critical thinking to interpret data and inform recommendations for clients
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including PwC tax and audit guidance
- Developing a deeper understanding of the business context and adapting to changes
- Using a broad range of tools and methodologies to solve problems and generate new ideas
- Mentoring and inspiring junior team members to enhance their skills and growth

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
