Previous experience:     Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Experience selling or supporting industrial technology solutions. SaaS and Platform experience; Evangelizing and advocating SaaS applications while also positioning a broader Platform perspective.  Deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem. Thought leader, with the credibility to present at high profile events, communicate and develop trust at executive levels.

The job

The Vice President, Connect Incubation Team, is a leadership role dedicated to achieving corporate objectives by driving the adoption of CONNECT and developing the CONNECT partner ecosystem. This role not only involves hands-on engagement with customers and partners but also leading a team of specialists to ensure the successful execution of strategies and initiatives.

The primary focus is on identifying new data services, visualization, and AVEVA Advanced Analytics use cases for both existing and new industrial customers, while supporting Account Managers in closing deals and expanding CONNECT consumption among PIDI customers.

The role also leverages AVEVA's relationships with end-customers to engage key equipment vendors, machine builders, and device manufacturers, enabling their digital business models on the CONNECT platform. Additionally, developing suitable AVEVA technology packages to enhance customers' solutions for high-value digital services is a key responsibility

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CONNECT Sales Specialists.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members.

• Corporate Goal Achievement:

  • Achieve annual objectives for CONNECT platform services adoption, new CONNECT accounts, case study development, and new ecosystem partners.

  • Ensure alignment with VP/Market leaders for key engagement areas.

• Pipeline and Progress Reporting:

  • Oversee the team's reporting on weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress based on Salesforce and Gainsight opportunities.

  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of pipeline status to senior management.

• Strategic Go-to-Market Plans:

  • Lead and support regional/market go-to-market plans with target market analysis, use case examples, and best practice approaches.

  • Guide the team in executing these plans effectively.

• Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain trust with AVEVA customer-facing staff as the go-to person for CONNECT data services, visualization, and Advanced Analytics.
