Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of electrical systems for federal building projects. This role requires extensive experience with AutoCAD, AutoDesk, or Revit, and a strong background in federal building standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position is 1 day a week remote.

Responsibilities:
- Design and Planning:
- Develop detailed electrical designs and plans using AutoCAD, AutoDesk, or Revit software.
- Ensure designs comply with federal building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct site assessments to determine electrical requirements and specifications.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the installation and implementation of electrical systems in federal building projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Perform regular inspections and quality control checks on electrical installations.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with relevant regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design plans, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Prepare and submit reports to project stakeholders and federal agencies as required.
- Document changes and updates to project plans and designs.
- Client Interaction:
- Communicate with federal clients to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Present design plans and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction with project outcomes.
